Apply labels to documents

Create labels and apply them to documents in bulk.

  1. In the left panel, find the Labels section and select the add (add) icon beside its heading. In the Create Label dialog that opens, enter a name (a colour is filled in for you, or pick your own), then select Create.

  2. To apply it, select one or more document rows with their checkboxes, click Label as in the bulk-action toolbar, choose the labels, and click Apply.

  3. To see only labelled documents, tick the label in the Review panel sidebar.

Other ways to apply a label

Once a label exists, there are several other ways to apply it to selected documents:

  • Right-click one or more selected documents and choose Label as — this opens the same label menu as the bulk-action button in step 2.

  • In the Review tab, click a document's Labels column cell to open the label picker for that row.

  • Open a document's Properties panel and edit the Labels field under Organisation.

  • Drag one or more selected rows onto a label in the sidebar.
